The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peter Cuevas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lugo Saavedra went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Pollock kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Atlético Bucaramanga's Elixio Garros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Cuevas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Peter Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weterio Caceo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lugo Saavedra in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Elixio Garros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Silban Bonifaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Cuevas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute, Weterio Caceo made a precise shot to the right of Peter Cuevas. New Whiteland FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Weterio Caceo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Cuevas. Peter Cuevas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 41st minute Silban Bonifaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The wind increased when Quincy Burks made the kick off in the second half. Peter Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lugo Saavedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Elixio Garros took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Peter Cuevas to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute Quincy Burks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Carlos Gonzalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Pollock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72ndth minute of the game Quincy Burks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Bucaramanga's Juan-Carlos Gonzalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elixio Garros in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lugo Saavedra got free with Peter Cuevas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sherman Cardenas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulberto Arango in the 81st minute of play forced New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lugo Saavedra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Cuevas came out and tried to block the shot, but Lugo Saavedra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Weterio Caceo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Silban Bonifaz scored 0-11 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Cuevas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blaine Longoria struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Whiteland FC. The New Whiteland FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Bucaramanga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
