Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Hyuga kicked off to start the match. When Nova Soccer's Steve Hyuga in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Gordos's goalie prevented a goal. After 9 minutes of play, Nova Soccer's Edinson Flores made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jayson Slaughter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jayson Slaughter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Hyuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyuga in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gordos's zone, Steve Hyuga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Slaughter came out of the goal and Steve Hyuga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Steve Hyuga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Steve Hyuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Hyuga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jayson Slaughter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Soccer. In the 25th minute, Steve Hyuga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jayson Slaughter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Horne during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommie Horne kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Steve Hyuga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Gordos the free kick. The supporters of Los Gordos booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Hyuga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gordos's zone, Steve Hyuga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Slaughter came out of the goal and Steve Hyuga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Edinson Flores sped through Los Gordos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jayson Slaughter. Steve Hyuga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Edinson Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jayson Slaughter. Los Gordos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinson Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenic Biggs made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Brett Steward mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Gordos and the Nova Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Brett Steward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Los Gordos from getting a goal against them. Arrigo Dorigatti hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Edinson Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Walton to maneuver through the defense. Steve Hyuga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Jayson Slaughter 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Ahmet Sedat Adar got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jayson Slaughter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Edinson Flores came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinson Flores couldn't finish the play. Steve Hyuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jayson Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Hyuga in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jayson Slaughter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Nova Soccer left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Gordos.
