The New Whiteland FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Cuevas should have stopped the shot. Peter Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chabier Belon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Atletico Aragua FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Atletico Aragua FC's Chabier Belon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The long shot by Ali Carrier in the 16th minute really tested Froylan Chagavia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Homer Richter kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Peter Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsoko Queipo in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, New Whiteland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Burks to maneuver through the defense. Peter Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chabier Belon in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Melchor Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Cuevas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 39th minute, Blaine Longoria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's Otsoko Queipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Cuevas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chabier Belon in the 45th minute of play forced New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quincy Burks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Froylan Chagavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Burks in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of New Whiteland FC booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauargi Trapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoko Queipo in the 56th minute of play. Peter Cuevas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chabier Belon went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes of play, Atletico Aragua FC's Cordarin Alberete made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Cuevas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chabier Belon came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Cuevas could save by the left post. The supporters of New Whiteland FC booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauargi Trapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Gauargi Trapiella. In the 85th minute of the match Ali Carrier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froylan Chagavia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when New Whiteland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaine Longoria didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save New Whiteland FC from getting a goal against them. Froylan Chagavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Burks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The New Whiteland FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico Aragua FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
