The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Larsen in the 7th minute of play forced Ocean Park Beach FC's goalkeeper Collin Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Oneill's late challenge caught a Ocean Park Beach FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Oneill helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Hurricanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Oneill. If Arthur Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sammie Egan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Otto in the 17th minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Zachariah Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ocean Park Beach FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Parker Dunn hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Jonathan Otto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurricanes FC's Zachariah Bennett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gregory Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariah Bennett was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Romain Corcoran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Collin Kerr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregory Simpson to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marcus Holmberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Zachariah Bennett to make any attempt to save it. Zachariah Bennett made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gregory Simpson sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Alfredo Larsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hurricanes FC's Zachariah Bennett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Hurricanes FC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Ocean Park Beach FC's Jonathan Otto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariah Bennett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. If Marcus Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregory Simpson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Zachariah Bennett made a huge save. Arthur Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Sammie Egan made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ocean Park Beach FC's Collin Kerr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Hurricanes FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ocean Park Beach FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
