Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Nova Soccer's Steve Hyuga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Felix Santoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Hyuga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Neuer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edinson Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Horna to maneuver through the defense. José Carvallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odilon Rozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Cebo Segura in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nova Soccer's Andy Polo. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Castulo Quiroga hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Felix Santoyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Unión CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Soccer the free kick. In the 17th minute, Felix Santoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Emanuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hyuga in the 25th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Emanuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Gutierre Chamorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carvallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Flores in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Steve Hyuga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Hyuga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play, Nova Soccer's Ahmet Sedat Adar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Neuer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Real Unión CF's Odilon Rozano in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Soccer's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Horna hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Odilon Rozano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gutierre Chamorro made a kick off. José Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gutierre Chamorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Steve Hyuga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Neuer was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 66thth minute of the game Gutierre Chamorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Soccer's José Carvallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Steve Hyuga. In the 69th minute, Odilon Rozano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Real Unión CF's Gutierre Chamorro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Soccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cebo Segura was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Unión CF's players had a chance to rest. After 82 minutes Nova Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cebo Segura who took care of the corner kick. Cebo Segura made a great header on Real Unión CF's corner, it was just that Nova Soccer's José Carvallo managed to reach the ball for a save. Emanuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Polo in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Real Unión CF's Odilon Rozano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carvallo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 93 played minutes Real Unión CF got a freekick which was hit by Castulo Quiroga. Emanuel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Hyuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Real Unión CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Unión CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
