After a rather tough play, Gonz FC's Rafael Bela got a free kick in the 8th minute. Klaas Jan Papachronopoulos was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Klaas Jan Papachronopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gonz FC's zone, Robert Sands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Matos came out of the goal and Robert Sands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When American Top Team's Robert Sands in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gonz FC's Juvenal Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Sands in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robert Sands's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Matos was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When American Top Team's Robert Sands in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juvenal Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Sands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Bela hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Sands in the 45th minute of play forced Gonz FC's goalkeeper Juvenal Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Gonz FC's Juvenal Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Sands in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Sands to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Morgan Wilkerson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juvenal Matos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 54 played minutes Gonz FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Gizon. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Dario Luzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Ashby came out of the goal and Dario Luzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Justo Remir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Robert Sands shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Sands's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match, Morgan Wilkerson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juvenal Matos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gonz FC's Justo Remir got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Justo Remir off the ground. A collision led to Gonz FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Justo Remir hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, American Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Sands to maneuver through the defense. Morgan Wilkerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgan Wilkerson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Juvenal Matos made a huge save. In the 81st match minute, Gonz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Gizon to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Eddy Simons got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Robert Sands who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonz FC's Juvenal Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Morgan Wilkerson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Juvenal Matos made a huge save. Juvenal Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Sands, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A hard shot 94 in the game by Morgan Wilkerson from a close distance when the talented Juvenal Matos managed to make a qualified save. Gonz FC's players were relieved. Juvenal Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
