After a rather tough play, Garfield Dream Team's Bautista Hudobro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Emilio Oterino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desmond Rowell, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Sherwood Franks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emilio Oterino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sherwood Franks made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Garfield Dream Team's Maria Tesillo. In the 25th minute, Desmond Rowell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Oterino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Emilio Oterino came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Giuseppe Jewell. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Jewell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 35 minutes into the match, Desmond Rowell notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino. Emilio Oterino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th match minute, Garfield Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bautista Hudobro to maneuver through the defense. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hess in the 41st minute of play. Maria Tesillo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Emilio Oterino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Giuseppe Jewell made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Jewell in the 53rd minute of play forced Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Emilio Oterino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Oterino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Natanael Belo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garfield Dream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Garfield Dream Team's Natanael Belo got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Giuseppe Jewell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelly Stovall got free with Emilio Oterino in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Emilio Oterino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desmond Rowell. After a rather tough play, Garfield Dream Team's Bautista Hudobro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Santos FC's Desmond Rowell in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garfield Dream Team's goalie prevented a goal. Emilio Oterino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Rowell in the 67th minute of play. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Garfield Dream Team from getting a goal against them. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Jewell in the 69th minute of play. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Garfield Dream Team from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Victor Hess nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Oterino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 80 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Coulter. Emilio Oterino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Jewell went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Emilio Oterino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Rowell in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Hess got free with Emilio Oterino in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherwood Franks in the 95th minute of play. Santos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
