Guipuzkoa Velamines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Tome in the 4th minute of play. When Sergio Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s protests and gave Sergio Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. Moises Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Caravajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Emilio Cid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Umea. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Cid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Emilio Cid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Moises Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emilio Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Moises Umea was a little too slow when Emilio Cid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. After 69 played minutes Tala Bosques del Jaure got a freekick which was hit by Paco Sesse. Guipuzkoa Velamines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Jordy in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner. Sergio Jordy went to the cornerflag to take it. After 76 played minutes Tala Bosques del Jaure got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Islañana. In the 77th minute of the match Sergio Jordy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guipuzkoa Velamines skillfully saved the ball. Carmelo Marino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position.
