Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jobo Abel started the match with the kick off. Octavia's Ado Abello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 5th minute of play. Ado Abello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ado Abello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Tuñon in the 10th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jobo Abel sped through General Velásquez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolf Holmgren. 19 minutes into the game, Jorge Vicente Squella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. General Velásquez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Octavia the free kick. In the 19th minute, Jorge Vicente Squella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 21st minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Ado Abello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in General Velásquez's zone, Distiratsu Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Holmgren came out of the goal and Distiratsu Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ado Abello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 28th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Ado Abello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ado Abello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Jobo Abel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolf Holmgren. Jobo Abel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 35 minutes of play, General Velásquez's Clemente Tuñon made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 39th minute, Gustav Tidéksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Asier Abechuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Velásquez the free kick. In the 70thth minute of the game Jobo Abel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atarratze Abarca hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rolado Abendano's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolado Abendano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Rolado Abendano got a free kick in the 95th minute. General Velásquez played a much better game than Octavia and deserved their victory. The Octavia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
