The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salvadore Abaunza in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azul Y Plomo's goalie prevented a goal. Hugo Juarros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mete Gols short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Luis Ibarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th minute, Diego Arrueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Modesto Molina came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Molina couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Santio Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Juarros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Juarros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mete Gol hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Salvadore Abaunza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hugo Juarros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Colque to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Azul Y Plomo's Rogerio Arcos got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Thiago Gøl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Ibarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Santio Abadie came free, but Hugo Juarros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Modesto Molina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Juarros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Molina in the 45th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Hugo Juarros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Modesto Molina notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Azul Y Plomo's Hugo Juarros. Hugo Juarros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Gøl to make the kick off. Luis Ibarra came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul Y Plomo's Mete Gol. But to his dismay, Mete Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rolando Rea charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Rea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Rea to maneuver through the defense. Salvadore Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Juarros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Ibarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Molina came free, but Hugo Juarros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Modesto Molina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Juarros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. But to his dismay, Modesto Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. With a little luck, Azul Y Plomo's Hugo Juarros got control of the ball when Santio Abadie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Juarros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Díaz in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santio Abadie to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Thiago Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Ibarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
