In the 3rd minute, Caleb Roberts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Próspero Friederichs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caleb Roberts scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Próspero Friederichs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ulysses Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Tolhauzsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caleb Roberts in the 17th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Próspero Friederichs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caleb Roberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Próspero Friederichs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Caleb Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Roberts came free, but Próspero Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Maria Cousiño. In the 24thth minute of the game Caleb Roberts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Richmond's Próspero Friederichs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulysses Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Tolhauzsen in the 26th minute of the match. Próspero Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Yoshioka in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute Caleb Roberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Próspero Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Caleb Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio HotSPURS's supporters rose to their feet, but Caleb Roberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Próspero Friederichs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Próspero Friederichs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caleb Roberts in the 40th minute of the match. Caleb Roberts struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Próspero Friederichs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Antonio HotSPURS. With an all-out effort, AFC Richmond's Ulysses Reyes threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remicio Price, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caleb Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caleb Roberts to make the kick off. Ulises Abusleme made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Enrique Arostegui immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remicio Price in the 55th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ulysses Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Tolhauzsen in the 56th minute of play. San Antonio HotSPURS's Del Rivers managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vinicio Celada in the 58 minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Fernando Tolhauzsen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of San Antonio HotSPURS's Ulysses Reyes. Ulysses Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AFC Richmond's Aníbal Marraccini was substituted for Fernando Tolhauzsen. San Antonio HotSPURS's Ulysses Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remicio Price in the 69th minute of play. San Antonio HotSPURS's Randy Hawkins was substituted for Rodrigo Rouse. After 73 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Abusleme. In the 76th minute, Enrique Arostegui made a precise shot to the right of Ulysses Reyes. San Antonio HotSPURS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. San Antonio HotSPURS's Berry Negron was substituted for Kerry Yoshioka. San Antonio HotSPURS's Del Rivers managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ulises Abusleme in the 80 minute of the game. In the 82nd match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wade Hearn to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Caleb Roberts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Marraccini took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses Reyes. Ulysses Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 93rd match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wade Hearn to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Reyes came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Richmond's Remicio Price. But to his dismay, Remicio Price quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. AFC Richmond's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
