Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Danial Lefler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gale Laliberté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brenton Carrasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When C. A. Pipon Pipon's Freddie Henderson in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Varennes fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brenton Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lanny Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Brice Leach made a huge save. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randell McCullough didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Freddie Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenton Carrasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brenton Carrasco made a great header on Varennes's corner, it was just that C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani managed to reach the ball for a save. C. A. Pipon Pipon were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Varennes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lanny Valle took the corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brice Leach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Lanny Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerold Floyd hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Clemente Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Freddie Henderson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brice Leach saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Salvador Braswell fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Salvador Braswell a yellow card for diving instead. Salvador Braswell kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenton Carrasco in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

C. A. Pipon Pipon's Pancho Cabeza was substituted for Danial Lefler. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddie Henderson made a kick off. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Clemente Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gale Laliberté. Denis Crow kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gale Laliberté received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Clemente Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenton Carrasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Varennes's Brenton Carrasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clemente Armani. Clemente Armani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Clemente Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 82nd minute of play. Brice Leach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ellsworth Lindsay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Clemente Armani made a huge save. The Varennes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
