When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Balendin made a kick off. Fernán Nancupel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Balendin came free, but Luis Alberto Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them.
