Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sidney Lin made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Sidney Lin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Byron Wills saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Charron in the 4th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Salvador Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Virgil Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Marshrose got a corner. Black Knights FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jason Charron ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jason Charron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Salvador Pack quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute of the match Raymundo Kirkland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Byron Wills showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sidney Lin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Byron Wills, 3-0. In the 28th minute, Elias Ferguson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Byron Wills. The goal made the score 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jame Gilliam in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Pack saved Black Knights FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match Marshrose got a corner. Black Knights FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jason Charron ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jason Charron almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack did a great save. Salvador Pack came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Marshrose's Jame Gilliam. But to his dismay, Jame Gilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Edward Desilets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Sidney Lin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Byron Wills. Sidney Lin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frances Tisserand was the one to do the kick off. If Maxwell Myrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Sidney Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute William Stubbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sidney Lin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Knights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Lin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Byron Wills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marshrose players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black Knights FC.
