Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hong Zheng started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mainor Calderon came free, but Asensio Berzosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asensio Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Maciejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Mainor Calderon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD SHETTANI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Damian Pernia. Gonzalo Barja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olger Azofeifa having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Héctor Gainzarain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roneros F.C. and the CD SHETTANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Héctor Gainzarain. Olger Azofeifa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gonzalo Barja sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to CD SHETTANI getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Clodomiro Morera hit a great ball. Olger Azofeifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Lombillo in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Héctor Gainzarain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, CD SHETTANI's Geraldo Frois tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Asensio Berzosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Maciejewski in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Clodomiro Morera notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Roneros F.C.'s Asensio Berzosa. Asensio Berzosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Lombillo was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Sanjuan. Asensio Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hong Zheng. Asensio Berzosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hong Zheng went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Olger Azofeifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Barja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roneros F.C.'s Walter Luzuriaga was substituted for Alberto Lombillo. Sindo Lores hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Roneros F.C.'s Gonzalo Barja couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD SHETTANI. 79 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Barja came free, but Olger Azofeifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes, Yépez Pedron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roneros F.C. and the CD SHETTANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yépez Pedron to maneuver through the defense. Olger Azofeifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Barja, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Asensio Berzosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hong Zheng in the 89th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Hong Zheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roneros F.C.'s Asensio Berzosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Pernia to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Elkan Peon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asensio Berzosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Walter Luzuriaga came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Roneros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Luzuriaga couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute of the match, Elkan Peon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Asensio Berzosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. CD SHETTANI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
