Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael De Leger got the match started through his kick off. If Iulian Corduneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Bauer. In the 14th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauro Ahues to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Carrington came free, but Savier Arco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Xpertin's zone, Conrad Carrington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savier Arco came out of the goal and Conrad Carrington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauro Ahues in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Club Deportivo Xpertin were awarded a corner. Gaitán Chavarria went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Becerra to maneuver through the defense. If Michael De Leger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Herrada in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Bauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrad Carrington's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Xpertin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrad Carrington helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Conrad Carrington hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Tauro Ahues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savier Arco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Bauer in the 59th minute of the match. Tauro Ahues scored 0-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Giay. After having played for 65 minutes, Conrad Carrington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Carrington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Ahues in the 75th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor Gajardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Miguel Ángel Santoro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 minutes of play, C. A. Independiente's Ferdinand Bauer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savier Arco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Savier Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Bauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Club Deportivo Xpertin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Monzón took the corner. After taking down the ball on C. A. Independiente's corner Gregg Hannah fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Savier Arco quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael De Leger during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Michael De Leger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Xpertin were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
