Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harrison McCann started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Internacional Pechofrío got a freekick which was hit by Eliu Bellogin. 5 minutes into the match, Jairo Lizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Zátopek. Internacional Pechofrío's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Lizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Internacional Pechofrío's Emil Zátopek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lizar in the 10th minute of play. Emil Zátopek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santa Luis in the 11th minute of play. Vinicio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison McCann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rómulo Gallegos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Harrison McCann made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Bidari. The Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Harrison McCann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vinicio Bidari. The goal made the score 2-1. Harrison McCanns short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Vinicio Bidari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Internacional Pechofrío's Emil Zátopek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santa Luis in the 34th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rómulo Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Santa Luis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Zátopek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hipolito Lugo fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internacional Pechofrío's protests and gave Hipolito Lugo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hipolito Lugo hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santa Luis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Silvio Birjaio got a free kick in the 51st minute. 59 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lizar came free, but Emil Zátopek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, The Old Boys's Santa Luis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Zátopek was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Santa Luis got free with Emil Zátopek in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Internacional Pechofrío defense, Santa Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Zátopek. The Internacional Pechofrío fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Zátopek should have stopped the shot. Emil Zátopek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Santa Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santa Luis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venceslao Solares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Lugo came free, but Vinicio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rómulo Gallegos hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded The Old Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Internacional Pechofrío.
