Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Marta Poom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Imperio Catatumbo de Lara from getting a goal against them. Elano Lobado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Ondino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Ortegano's Ignacio Gaig was substituted for Delmar Nesto. Emeterio Somalo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Pedro Augusto Massa in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marta Poom's left hand side.
