Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Emeterio Somalo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmundo Arizabal, made in the 69th minute of the game. After 70 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Yago Lijo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnin Lozada in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Ondino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emeterio Somalo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Elano Lobado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Endura Devalla made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Ortegano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
