Sporting Buceo's Favila Heras quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mete Culiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 37th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Gutierrre Valseca. When Emilio Alberete fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Emilio Alberete a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Emilio Alberete got a free kick in the 45th minute. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aiolos Oolo in the 46th minute of play. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sporting Buceo to win.
