Fritz Busk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Bert Pöggeler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mario Dostie hit a great ball. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denver Grimes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Qikiqtarjuaq FC's zone, Lehoi Payno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Achin came out of the goal and Lehoi Payno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hilario Slaughter fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Hilario Slaughter a yellow card for diving instead. If Cyrus Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Mete y Raspa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cuarto Elizondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Fritz Busk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Achin was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Bert Pöggeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Achin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fritz Busk sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Busk was the one to do the kick off. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Neyda in the 51st minute of the match. When Mero Tabernilla fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mete y Raspa FC's protests and gave Mero Tabernilla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Mero Tabernilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Mete y Raspa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Owen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Denver Grimes got a free kick in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denver Grimes during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denver Grimes kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Lalla Paiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Owen in the 62nd minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Bert Pöggeler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lehoi Payno hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Denver Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Mete y Raspa FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Mete y Raspa FC's Tristan Neyda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fritz Busk scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jason Achin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mete y Raspa FC's Fritz Busk in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bert Pöggeler came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Cyrus Velasco. But to his dismay, Cyrus Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
