After recieving a nice pass, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Renaldo Battle tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brooks Yates to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joe Kazinsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baptiste Ritchie fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Baptiste Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead.
