The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Damian Rojas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the Golden Dragón F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Viñe to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Golden Dragón F.C's Froila Espin got control of the ball when Jonathan Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froila Espin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Ladio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Joaquim Pereta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Tigres's Angelo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 20th minute of play. Romulo Lizar charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Lizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 28th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Veronica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froila Espin was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jonathan Veronica hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With his leg Angelo Lluc managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Pereta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Pereta. Angelo Lluc was a little too slow when Joaquim Pereta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Angelo Lluc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Pereta in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Loaisa in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Lluc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Les Tigres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Dragón F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Dragón F.C.
