Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efraín Ruiz Tagle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Efraín Ruiz Tagle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Lluc. Efraín Ruiz Tagle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Les Tigres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amado Fanta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Veronica was the one to do the kick off. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 55th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Tano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Spartans FC booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Tigres's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Eduardo Schorr was slow to take the kick. During this time Spartans FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Spartans FC's corner Luis Eduardo Schorr fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Lluc quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd minute Amado Fanta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Lluc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Fanta went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Viviano Barra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Les Tigres's Albano Esiquio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Efraín Ruiz Tagle took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Lluc. Angelo Lluc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Veronica made a precise shot to the right of Florín Hermosilla. Spartans FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Angelo Lluc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elear Socho, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Spartans FC booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
