The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Club Ibiza's Miguel Calero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xilo Cortada in the 5th minute of play. Edgardo Fuica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Lamota in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Ibiza defense, Llorian Candelaria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Calero. The Club Ibiza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Calero should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Club Ibiza getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ixona Tabernilla hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Markel Joestar came free, but Miguel Calero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santxol Suazo's late challenge caught a ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santxol Suazo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santxol Suazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mario Kart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Calero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorian Candelaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Lamota, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Club Ibiza got a corner. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elequemedo San ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edgardo Fuica made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Hipolito Lamota sent off a good shot on target. Ixona Tabernilla kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Club Ibiza's Miguel Calero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xilo Cortada in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ were awarded a corner. Markel Joestar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Llorian Candelaria to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Calero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marquinhos Corrêa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a corner. Club Ibiza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Markel Joestar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Lamota to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Club Ibiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Sal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llorian Candelaria in the 54th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Miguel Calero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Ciro Aguilera replaced Llorian Candelaria. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Xavion Zeppeli was substituted for Giovanni Giorno. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edgardo Fuica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Lamota in the 65th minute of play. In the 81st minute Hipolito Lamota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Fuica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Lamota, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hipolito Lamota got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edgardo Fuica handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 86th play minutes Hipolito Lamota shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Edgardo Fuica and just under the crossbar into goal. Xilo Cortada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Calero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
