Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Radomil Bucyki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 4th minute of the match Flamengo de San Blás got a corner. Zorros del Desierto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfredo Zambrano ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Gutierrez in the 12th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Radomil Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the game Falo Pero made a throw-in which Cristian Insaurralde played forward. Sergio Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Insaurralde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Insaurralde in the 19th minute of play. Flamengo de San Blás's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfredo Zambrano in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Flamengo de San Blás's corner Wilfredo Zambrano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Radomil Bucyki quite easily take care of the ball. Sergio Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquito Escalante, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Chiquito Escalante got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Falo Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo de San Blás the free kick. Falo Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki got control of the ball when Monchi Villalaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flamengo de San Blás were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Zorros del Desierto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Zambrano took the corner. Cristian Insaurralde charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Insaurralde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Cristian Insaurralde got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquito Escalante to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play Zorros del Desierto's Falo Pero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falo Pero to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Pérez. Flamengo de San Blás's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfredo Zambrano in the 74th minute. Haarald Wings was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Haarald Wings fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo de San Blás's protests and gave Haarald Wings a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flamengo de San Blás getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Haarald Wings hit a great ball. Zorros del Desierto's Radomil Bucyki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Gutierrez in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Pérez during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rodrigo Pérez hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Zorros del Desierto failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
