In the 17th minute of the match, 郝烨光 got a very nice opportunity to score, but 卓昆兴 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If 吴源铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 乔斌然 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 叶钢庭, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 吕克诚 during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
