After a rather tough play, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Cuma Gökçek got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ekrem Arslantürk kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Mehmet Halis Tezay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Halis Tezay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İshak Peşrev in the 16th minute of the match. Kutlu Tunçkol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Mehmet Halis Tezay made a huge save. Mehmet Halis Tezay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İshak Peşrev in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerem Ertaş in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muharrem Baler saved Eflani from getting behind. Ali Kaan Ulağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Efekan Nasih was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eflani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eflani's Efekan Nasih got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes, Ahmet Korcan Deryace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. and the Eflani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Korcan Deryace hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Yücel Tangun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Eflani defense, Kerem Ertaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muharrem Baler. The Eflani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muharrem Baler should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Şeray Çağlayan got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Rafettin Rekin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Muharrem Baler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kaan Ulağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Ali Kaan Ulağ made a precise shot to the right of Muharrem Baler. Eflani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Mehmet Halis Tezay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutlu Tunçkol in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute İshak Peşrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Halis Tezay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekrem Arslantürk's late challenge caught a Eflani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ekrem Arslantürk helped the player get up and apologised. İshak Peşrev shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 70 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kutlu Tunçkol came free, but Mehmet Halis Tezay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeray Çağlayan's late challenge caught a Eflani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şeray Çağlayan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Şeray Çağlayan hit a great ball. Muharrem Baler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerem Ertaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Eflani's goal looked a bit too open when Kerem Ertaş came free, but Muharrem Baler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Muharrem Baler threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kerem Ertaş, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, Eflani's goalkeeper Muharrem Baler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necaettin Cenan. In the 80th minute, Ali Kaan Ulağ reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Muharrem Baler. The goal made the score 0-3. The supporters of Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. booed when Eflani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Seyyit Özsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muharrem Baler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerem Ertaş in the 86th minute of play. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s Mehmet Halis Tezay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İshak Peşrev in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Arif Cengiz Özertan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şeray Çağlayan was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Çağlayan. After 98 minutes of play, Eflani's İshak Peşrev made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Tezay was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
