Özgün Karasu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demir Rebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute Demir Rebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Karasu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özgün Karasu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demir Rebi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özgün Karasu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demir Rebi in the 14th minute of play. Deniz Hasanbeyli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özgün Karasu having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Demir Rebi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özgün Karasu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azmi Öktuna was the one to do the kick off. Deniz Hasanbeyli scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özgün Karasu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Özgün Karasu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demir Rebi in the 55th minute of the match. Körfez JK's Özgün Karasu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Körfez JK from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Deniz Hasanbeyli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özgün Karasu. Deniz Hasanbeyli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 78th minute of the match, Demir Rebi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Özgün Karasu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute, Deniz Hasanbeyli made a precise shot to the right of Özgün Karasu. Körfez JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Birkan Sarik came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Özgün Karasu could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Birkan Sarik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Özgün Karasu. The goal made the score 0-10. When Beyhan Lami fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Port UTD's protests and gave Beyhan Lami a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Körfez JK booed when North Port UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beyhan Lami didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Demir Rebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Karasu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Mehmet Anıl Aşık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Körfez JK and the North Port UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes, North Port UTD's Ardahan Şenbay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özgün Karasu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Port UTD reached it. When the match was over North Port UTD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Körfez JK throughout the match.
