The Adana FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Adana FC's Duman Temizkan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Arif Egemen Çakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Aker in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Tolgahan İlseven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Adana FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
