An unexpectedly hard shot by Duman Temizkan in the 3rd minute of play forced 1461 Trabzon's goalkeeper Atabek Kantürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Adana FC got a freekick which was hit by Duman Temizkan. Mehmet Bilge Geylani hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Devlet Açıkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Egemen Çakar having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Adana FC's İsmail Cem Kaçkar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atabek Kantürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 19 minutes of play, Adana FC's Mehmet Bilge Geylani made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atabek Kantürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Adana FC's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Çakar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Oğuz Akil. Enginalp Mansız charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enginalp Mansız the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Adana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enginalp Mansız to maneuver through the defense. Yiğit Ülgü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arif Egemen Çakar made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Duman Temizkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duman Temizkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atabek Kantürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1461 Trabzon's Atabek Kantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Cem Kaçkar in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Cem Kaçkar got free with Atabek Kantürk in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fevzi Pakel during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored 1461 Trabzon's protests and gave Gürsel Köken a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, one of 1461 Trabzon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 1461 Trabzon. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of 1461 Trabzon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Adana FC:s goal. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Adana FC. Duman Temizkan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Atabek Kantürk. 1-5. 82 minutes into the game, Mehmet Bilge Geylani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1461 Trabzon the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Adana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Geylani to maneuver through the defense.
