Oğuzer Uzcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ruhi Eryavuz made a huge save. Hakkı Devrim Pakkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Nihat Kiyas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ahmet Kutsi Tuğaltan hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Seyyit Evliya came free, but Hakkı Devrim Pakkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ferdi Barkan made the kick off in the second half. Gökçen Korur charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
