The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Mümtazer Konguralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aces F.C and the Çanakkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mümtazer Konguralp kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Sertaç Evcimen struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Halil İbrahim Kongar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çanakkale. Hamit Şiraz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamit Şiraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Mirza Soyselçuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gökmen Çoğa was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Mirza Soyselçuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Mirza Soyselçuk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the last second Gökmen Çoğa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mirza Soyselçuk in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Aces F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. İbrahim Hüsrev hit a great ball. Mustafa Kemal took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil İbrahim Kongar. Halil İbrahim Kongar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sertaç Evcimen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirza Soyselçuk in the 54th minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Gökmen Çoğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Mustafa Kemal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Aces F.C's Halil İbrahim Kongar.
