Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Hakkı Kenan Uygun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bozkurt's zone, Hakkı Kenan Uygun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boran Gencal came out of the goal and Hakkı Kenan Uygun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altuğ Başhekim in the 12th minute of play forced Bozkurt's goalkeeper Boran Gencal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hakkı Kenan Uygun in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Abdurrezzak Ünveren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boran Gencal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 16 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Kenan Uygun came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Kenan Uygun. 20 minutes into the game, Habib Türkmen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Orhan Hacıahmetoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orhan Hacıahmetoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Türkmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferit Adak to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Kenan Uygun. After having played for 36 minutes, Yusuf Bahadır Baransel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozkurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Bahadır Baransel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu booed when Bozkurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günalp Rikap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boran Gencal made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Abdurrezzak Ünveren sent off a good shot on target. Abdurrezzak Ünveren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boran Gencal came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdurrezzak Ünveren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yusuf Bahadır Baransel to strike the kick off in the second half. Süruri Tahir hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Boran Gencal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Kenan Uygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Habib Türkmen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Orhan Hacıahmetoğlu. Orhan Hacıahmetoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bozkurt's Habib Türkmen got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Türkmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferit Adak charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferit Adak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit Adak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunter Yasık to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Süruri Tahir. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bozkurt! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu. Hakkı Kenan Uygun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boran Gencal. 2-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bozkurt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu.
