The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. H E P T A N's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Hazım Ulaç scored to the left of an out of position Nadir Hallaçoğlu, making the score, 1-0. In the 8th minute, Oğuzhan Mesut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H E P T A N fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karhan Okyanus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzhan Mesut's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Harun Öktem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birvan Spor Kulübü and the H E P T A N players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Birvan Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harun Öktem to maneuver through the defense. When Enes Perkin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored H E P T A N's protests and gave Enes Perkin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to H E P T A N getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Enes Perkin hit a great ball. Karhan Okyanus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Mesut in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Ahmet Gökalp Karakan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nadir Hallaçoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nadir Hallaçoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazım Ulaç in the 28th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ahmet Gökalp Karakan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birvan Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave H E P T A N the free kick. After 40 played minutes Birvan Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Karakan. After 44 played minutes Birvan Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Baran Taze. 47 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Talip came free, but Nadir Hallaçoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 58 minutes, Işıkalp Birsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N and the Birvan Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oğuzhan Mesut did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Karhan Okyanus 78 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, H E P T A N was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işıkalp Birsoy to maneuver through the defense. Azim Yüksel hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Birvan Spor Kulübü booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reha Akağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nadir Hallaçoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hazım Ulaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
