After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Kamer Şensal got a free kick in the 4th minute. İlkan Saygılı didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KOCAELİSPOR's Sümer Ruşen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Altan Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Aral Yalın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Nafiz Filiz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gökhan Akbaşak hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Nafiz Vecid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İlkan Saygılı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sümer Ruşen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner. Kamer Şensal went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Tolunay Oğuztan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's İlkan Saygılı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sümer Ruşen in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ersin Kahveci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlkan Saygılı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Mehmet Şefik İmam got a free kick in the 47th minute. Kamer Şensal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Hakan Ayçetin was the one to do the kick off. Sümer Ruşen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlkan Saygılı having to interfere. KOCAELİSPOR's Cumali Aktaç was substituted for Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu. KOCAELİSPOR's Zekai Hallaç was substituted for Arslan Kamran. 70 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Kerim Sulhi came free, but Vefa İlenç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vefa İlenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerim Sulhi in the 73rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's İlkan Saygılı got control of the ball when Sümer Ruşen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Nafiz Filiz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Seferihisar İdman Gücü booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekai Hallaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamer Şensal kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Poyraz Tuncel tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The KOCAELİSPOR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KOCAELİSPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
