Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leo Lönn made the kick off which started today's match. Göran Jernberg made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Christer Bergström immediately put the ball in play. 8 minutes into the game, Birger Grep cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Wester to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, IFK Stockholm's Niclas Svanberg threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Lönn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Göran Jernberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Grep in the 16th minute of play. LA VIOLA's Birger Grep got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Grep in the 24th minute of play. Niclas Svanberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Martinsson in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Alf Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Andersson in the 30th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Vincent Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Birger Grep got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Grep to strike the kick off in the second half. IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Grep in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Charles Hellgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA VIOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Hellgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Vesterberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Birger Grep came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Grep couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Dahlberg in the 64th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Niclas Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Hellgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Andersson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA VIOLA. Manfred Josefsson made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Christer Bergström however managed to control. Birger Grep in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Ove Vesterberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute, Birger Grep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Alf Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Andersson couldn't finish the play. Birger Grep struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA VIOLA. In the 95th minute, Vincent Öberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. LA VIOLA played a much better game than IFK Stockholm and deserved their victory. The IFK Stockholm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
