Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Gert Arvidsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Åke Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Herrhagen's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Granberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Arne Brodin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Gert Arvidsson sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Tony Aronsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Henry Ödmann kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Åke Granberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jörgen Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Arne Brodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Arne Brodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Melchester Rovers's Bernt Holmberg. But to his dismay, Bernt Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Arvidsson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Brodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Melchester Rovers fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Melchester Rovers's Gert Arvidsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gert Arvidsson in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Brodin saved Borussia Herrhagen from getting behind. Melchester Rovers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
