Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Johannes Torstensson kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Ekedalen SK's Aaron Drewitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aaron Drewitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ekedalen SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aaron Drewitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Aaron Drewitz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Johannes Torstensson struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Gert Myhr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linköpings AIK. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Oscar Walmarsson hit a great ball. When Johannes Torstensson fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linköpings AIK's protests and gave Johannes Torstensson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Mats Ros got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Rickard Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind got control of the ball when Simon Olsmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Olsmann to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Lind made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Simon Olsmann sent off a good shot on target. Mats Ros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Staffan Lind made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Vestlund in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Vestlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gert Myhr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Åke Gadd went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 79 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Godholm. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Vestlund in the 83rd minute of play. Staffan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Nordström in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Linköpings AIK's zone, Emil Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Lind came out of the goal and Emil Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ekedalen SK booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Vestlund in the 97th minute of play.
