Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Blackjacks's Marcus Engström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fred Anselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Engström in the 7th minute of play. If Elias Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Blackjacks's zone, Fred Anselius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Sjöö came out of the goal and Fred Anselius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elias Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Blackjacks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. Flock of Eagles's Arne Brodin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Blackjacks defense, Arne Benett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Sjöö. The Blackjacks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Sjöö should have stopped the shot. Arne Brodin took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Sjöö. Sverker Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Brodin came free, but Sverker Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Gert Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goalkeeper Otto Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Engström. Arne Benett took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Sjöö. Sverker Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
The wind increased when Arne Benett made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Marcus Engström notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Flock of Eagles's Otto Linqvist. Otto Linqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 57 minutes, Marcus Engström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackjacks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Engström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Brodin to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blackjacks! 69 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Benett came free, but Sverker Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Kaxe during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arne Benett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sverker Sjöö came out and tried to block the shot, but Arne Benett slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. Otto Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Engström in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Blackjacks getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stig-Arne Dalström hit a great ball. Andy Grubb charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Grubb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Stig-Arne Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Flock of Eagles's Sverker Sjöö threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Benett, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stig-Arne Dalström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blackjacks!
