Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefan Pååk took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Lars Björkdal. Samurai's Fredrik Bennet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. After having played for 8 minutes, Mattias Smefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fredrik Bennet was a little too slow when John Bogren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Mellbad to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Mellbad in the 18th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Ros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 27 minutes into the game, Lars Björkdal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samurai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rank 1 the free kick. Lars Björkdal kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Svanström to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match, Stefan Pååk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredrik Bennet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute Stefan Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match, Stefan Pååk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredrik Bennet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 40 minutes of play Samurai's Lars Björkdal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Lars Björkdal got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fredrik Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mattias Smefeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Kleen having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Smefeldt to make the kick off. When Rank 1's Ulf Ros in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samurai's goalie prevented a goal. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Ros in the 67th minute of play. Henry Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, John Bogren put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fredrik Bennet. In the 79th minute, Mattias Smefeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Olov Bäckström hit a great ball. Stefan Pååk scored 4-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Bennet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rank 1 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Samurai for a fine match.
