Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Verner Alkvist made the kick off which started today's match. Joar Vallengren scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Björling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Verner Alkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Alkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Verner Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Åke Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Alkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Motala's Olov Majman got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Vincent Säfström fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motala's protests and gave Vincent Säfström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Motala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Säfström to maneuver through the defense. Verner Alkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Björling having to interfere. Motala's Åke Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Alkvist in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Fabian Näfver notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Motala's Åke Björling. Åke Björling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Verner Alkvist made a precise shot to the right of Åke Björling. Motala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Motala getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Skoog hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Motala defense, Verner Alkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Björling. The Motala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Björling should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Börje Jonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Björling. Motala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Jonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When Polly Magoo Juniors's Joar Vallengren in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motala's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Alkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Vincent Säfström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Säfström was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Lennartsson to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabian Näfver got a free kick in the 56th minute. Åke Björling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joar Vallengren in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute, Fabian Näfver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Åke Björling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Joar Vallengren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Björling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Polly Magoo Juniors booed when Motala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Näfver was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Paul Lennartsson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Polly Magoo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Lennartsson couldn't finish the play. Pascal Renaud's late challenge caught a Motala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Renaud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, one of Polly Magoo Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Polly Magoo Juniors. Polly Magoo Juniors played a much better game than Motala and deserved their victory. The Motala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
