Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Torsten Beckeman made the kick off and thus started the match. Boris Pihlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Pihlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the match, Torsten Beckeman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mats Ekeroth, 1-0. After 15 minutes, Elliott Möllgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljungbyholm and the Djurgården United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Djurgården United made a substitution. Edvin Thidén replaced Jan-Ove Axelsson. Elliott Möllgren kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mats Ekeroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Kruse in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Ljungbyholm's goalkeeper Mats Ekeroth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Kruse. Elliott Möllgren was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elliott Möllgren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Torsten Beckeman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Ekeroth. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Torsten Beckeman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Ekeroth came out and tried to block the shot, but Torsten Beckeman slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Boris Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Kiempe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Hellström in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Ljungbyholm's Mats Ekeroth got control of the ball when Kurt Eckegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ljungbyholm's Simon Hellström got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Kruse took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Ekeroth. Mats Ekeroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Simon Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Simon Hellström made the kick off in the second half. When Simon Hellström fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungbyholm's protests and gave Simon Hellström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ljungbyholm getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Simon Hellström hit a great ball. Mats Ekeroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Beckeman in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Kurt Eckegren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgården United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Kurt Eckegren came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Djurgården United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Eckegren couldn't finish the play. Torsten Beckeman scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Ekeroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Torsten Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Beckeman in the 73rd minute of play forced Ljungbyholm's goalkeeper Mats Ekeroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Torsten Beckeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Beckeman took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Ekeroth. Mats Ekeroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Kurt Eckegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Ekeroth having to interfere. Simon Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Eckegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Beckeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mats Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Djurgården United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
