Boris Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Jonas Kiempe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Matthias Tunström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Kiempe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonas Kiempe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Sjögren in the 14th minute of the match. If Torsten Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes, Åke Sjögren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Djurgården United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Åke Sjögren got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Orvar Rolfsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Djurgården United booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Christopher Hedlund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas Kiempe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boris Löfgren's late challenge caught a Boomerang Bombers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Löfgren helped the player get up and apologised. 27 minutes into the game, one of Djurgården United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonas Kiempe went to the wrong direction when Bernt Arvidsson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Filiph Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Eckegren in the 37th minute of the match. Tomas Kruse took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiph Samuelsson. Filiph Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 46th minute, Adrian Skålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djurgården United's Jonas Kiempe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Arvidsson in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernt Arvidsson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Åke Sjögren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Åke Sjögren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Djurgården United booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiph Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes, Boomerang Bombers's Bernt Arvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Kiempe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boomerang Bombers reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Beckeman got free with Filiph Samuelsson in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Samuelsson having to interfere. Tomas Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Filiph Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Söderberg during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Djurgården United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Börje Söderberg hit a great ball. If Roy Vallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Kiempe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Djurgården United got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Skålberg. Boomerang Bombers's Roy Vallgren got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Filiph Samuelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Eckegren. A collision led to Boomerang Bombers getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Orvar Rolfsson hit a great ball. Tomas Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Samuelsson having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Djurgården United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
