The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Gabriel Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huvudstaden's Gustaf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Söderqvist in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Lundström in the 9th minute of play forced Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Gustaf Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Lundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustaf Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustaf Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bengt Edström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Jakobsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Stig-Arne Pååk got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Huvudstaden players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt Edström to strike the kick off in the second half. Stig-Arne Pååk kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Edward Söderqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Söderqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th of the match, Sigvard Björck tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gustaf Jakobsson got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to SupremEs Divor - Ej KM getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Edward Söderqvist hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Stefan Kiempe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Christer Sandwall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Edström came free, but Christer Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's Bengt Edström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Sandwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaf Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Göran Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Bengt Edström got a free kick in the 80th minute. Stig-Arne Pååk kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Stefan Kiempe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
