Joar Kuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Hjortberg in the 8th minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Joar Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porjus's Pontus Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Sandell in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, The Reds's Elliott Barck made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Lundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes in the game Mårten Stabbe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elliott Barck. Alfred Valler's late challenge caught a The Reds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Valler helped the player get up and apologised. Alfred Valler hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Joar Kuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Hedman in the 20th minute. Ola Malmberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Mark Hedman rounded The Reds's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Hjortberg came free, but Joar Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egil Kilstedt during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egil Kilstedt hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Pontus Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Porjus's Mark Hedman got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joar Kuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Hjortberg in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, The Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Kilstedt to maneuver through the defense. Elliott Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Lundin having to interfere. Joar Fransson made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Reds's Bengt Sandell. Mårten Stabbe hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Sven-Oskar Josefsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joar Kuse. The Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lennart Ahlin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to The Reds getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bengt Sandell hit a great ball. Sven-Oskar Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Sandell hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Mark Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Elliott Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Hjortberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fred Hjortberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joar Kuse was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Joar Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Hedman in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Porjus fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Reds had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
