Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gottfrid Eriksson got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Isaksson came free, but Dan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården IF's zone, Olof Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Palmquist came out of the goal and Olof Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ola Mellberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Kinnman went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jonny Sillén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Palmquist was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Jonny Sillén dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Palmquist, 1-2. Dan Palmquist was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Ulrik Isaksson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulrik Isaksson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Sonstorps Fotboll's Jens-Ola Mellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sonstorps Fotboll from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ola Mellberg was a little too slow when Gottfrid Eriksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-3. Sonstorps Fotboll walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
