Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Ove Fransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Egil Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Anders Beckeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Robin Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bennis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Stenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 minutes of play, Bennis's Torbjörn Alrot made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Beckeman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 minutes, Roland Hedman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Övertorneå RK and the Bennis players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Torbjörn Alrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Övertorneå RK's Anders Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Alrot in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Alrot notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Övertorneå RK's Anders Beckeman. Anders Beckeman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torbjörn Alrot struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Anders Beckeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Kielberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hans Kielberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sven-Arne Eklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Ove Fransson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. Jan-Ove Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Alrot in the 40th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Anders Beckeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Börge Enström hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Dag Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bennis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

53 minutes into the game, Alex Forsell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bennis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Övertorneå RK the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Forsell to maneuver through the defense. Anders Beckeman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Egil Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Egil Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Torbjörn Alrot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anders Beckeman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 70 minutes, Herbert Hökqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Övertorneå RK and the Bennis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bennis booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Övertorneå RK's zone, Alex Forsell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Beckeman came out of the goal and Alex Forsell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Elliott Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Beckeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Hermansson in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Egil Hermansson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Övertorneå RK's Anders Beckeman. Anders Beckeman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Alrot came free, but Anders Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Övertorneå RK's Per-Erik Norberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Per-Erik Norberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Övertorneå RK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Per-Erik Norberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th match minute, Övertorneå RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Norberg to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Anders Beckeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Lindström. Bennis played a much better game than Övertorneå RK and deserved their victory. The Övertorneå RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
