Scottie Moal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Olenberg having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Stadsbornas IF's goalkeeper Jan Olenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliott Torsberg. Jan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Berg scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Olenberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes Edward Åkesson rounded Stadsbornas IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Elliott Torsberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scottie Moal in the 18th minute of play forced Stadsbornas IF's goalkeeper Jan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scottie Moal in the 20th minute of play. Jonny Andreasson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match, Elliott Torsberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Olenberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Jönsätt to maneuver through the defense. Jan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Torsberg in the 34th minute of play. Bengt Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Olenberg having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Elof Carlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stadsbornas IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand the free kick. In the 36th minute, Elof Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bengt Berg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vejbystrand defense, Kjell-Arne Kleen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Karlsson. The Vejbystrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Karlsson should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Rönn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Stadsbornas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Scottie Moal came free, but Jan Olenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Scottie Moal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Elliott Torsberg put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Olenberg. Jan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vejbystrand's Elliott Torsberg in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan Olenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Dahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jan Olenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Torsberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Jan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Smed in the 89th minute of play. Karl-Oskar Alberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Per-Erik Dahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Jönsätt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Karlsson having to interfere. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jaba Stopar hit a great ball. Arne Rönn scored 3-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vejbystrand fully deserved thier win.
