Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) Myggenäs IFK's Ove Alströmmer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magnus Andreasson charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magnus Andreasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nye booed when Myggenäs IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Philip Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Magne Wickander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magne Wickander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ove Alströmmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Albäck having to interfere. In the 17th minute Stellan Nyman suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ulrik Axelsson's late challenge caught a Myggenäs IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Ulrik Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Alströmmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sivert Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nye's protests and gave Sivert Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Nye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. Sverker Tomasson lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Nye. Tobias Mickelsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conny Mattsson. 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Hedvall came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Wickander in the 34th minute of the match. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Alströmmer in the 37th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philip Hedvall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Björklund in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Myggenäs IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Wickander to maneuver through the defense. Markus Albäck made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ove Alströmmer sent off a good shot on target. Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Västerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
